The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign aimed at raising awareness and prompting action to end violence against women and girls globally. It begins on November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and runs until December 10, which is Human Rights Day. This period was chosen to symbolically link violence against women and human rights, emphasising violence against women is a violation of human rights.
